چکیده
The Metal Matrix Composite (MMC) technique is the most effective contrast method when compared with other techniques. By using of high energy stir casting, Aluminium alloy Al2219 reinforced various percentages Si3N4 (0, 3, 6, and 9 %) particles. X-ray diffraction along Scanning electron microscope was performed to characterize composite. mechanical thermal behaviours such as differential analysis thermo gravimetric analysis/, tensile, wear hardness were investigated. electro chemical potentiodynamic polarization test, consequence heat treatment on corrosion behaviour composites its matrix in 3.5 % NaCl at 600 rpm also In this experimental study, aluminium significantly decreased addition study revealed that, since inclusion samples base alloy, properties composites, resistance, tensile strength increased by percentage. surface morphology worn surfaces test pieces unfold that increase reinforcement content, rate decreases.

Self-lubricating composites are designed to obtain materials that reduce energy consumption, improve heat dissipation between moving bodies, and eliminate the need for external lubricants. The use of a solid lubricant in bulk composite material always involves a significant reduction in its mechanical properties, which is usually not an optimal solution. The growing interest in multilayer graph...
متن کاملCORROSION BEHAVIOUR OF A 2219 ALUMINIUM ALLOY TREATED WITH A CHROMATE CONVERSION COATING EXPOSED TO A 3.5 % NaCl SOLUTION
This study investigates the formation of a chromate conversion coating at Al-Cu-Fe-Mn intermetallic sites of an Al2219 alloy and the corrosion initiation at these sites in a 3.5 % NaCl solution, using SEM, AES and EDX. Changes in the surface chemistry were monitored after progressive exposures to the solution up to 42 hours. The coating was found to be thinner and more defective on the intermet...
